The Walsonia sort is of South African origin, and belongs to the Monocotiledoneae class, Liliflorae order, Iridaceae family, subfamily Ixioideae. It has numerous species, they can be of summer, winter or continuous production, depending on the environmental conditions. The Watsonia, well-known commonly as Twigs of San jOse, like Gladiolus and Fressia also belong to the Iridaceae family. Watsonia has certain importance as flower of cut in the local markets. The Watsonias is perennial plants that grow from cormo and produce showy flowers, these are tubular and they are in an ample range of colors that go of the red brick to the target, happening through the pink one.
