Narcissus

Lilium comes from " Li"="blancura " in the language celta (to the West of Europe). Plants of the Lilium sort are monocotiledóneas that belong to the Liliaceae family, is native of Asia, Europe and the United States. The Lilium cultivates much in jardínes, but they are important as cut flowers and as plants in flowerpot. The bulbs are forced to obtain flowers in this date, which is obtained thanks to a programming of the culture. Difference of other species and hybrids by its oriented flowers horizontally and white. The Lilium Asian presents/displays a great diversity of colors of the flower (mainly naranjo, red and yellow) and in the forms and times of flowering, are not fragant.

For years the Lilium has been occupying the first places between the flowers exported by Chile.
